Sale Spotlight: Paper Punk

I discovered origami when I moved to San Francisco in 5th grade and became completely obsessed with it, like, immediately. I spent all of my allowance money on kami—that’s the special origami paper—and a lot of times I’d also secretly walk to school so I could pocket my MUNI money. (Sorry mom!)
Paper Punk founder Grace Hawthorne is also a Bay Area baby, and her line of paper toys picks up where origami leaves off: printed in bright, diverse patterns, these flat shapes become 3D robots, dogs and cars and lots of other fun things in the time it takes to make a few simple folds. Design blogs SwissMiss and Cool Hunting are both big fans, and so are we: our second Paper Punk sale is on right now, this time around with a fantastic 18-piece set that makes planning a kid’s birthday party a breeze.
