Under the moniker Deer Dana, NYC design duo Dana Veraldi and Kevin Tekinel create hand-drawn tees and totes featuring “wearable portraits” of venerable tastemakers, from Kanye West in full Egyptian regalia and Prince Harry replete with rosiness and that roguish grin to Dame Maggie Smith in all her “Downton Abbey” pursed-lip glory.

We love Jack’s Wife Freda and recently had a great dinner at The Fat Radish.

Friends, the ocean, music and movies.

What is your next DEERDANA project?

We are working with one of our favorite brands for Fashion Night Out. We have a few new designs that will be released in the beginning of September. And we are hoping to begin making tees for children and sweatshirts.
