I really wanted to go to a small art school in a big city. While I looked into Pratt and a few schools in San Francisco, I ended up going with Parsons due to the history and its reputation. I’m also a huge Woody Allen fan, which swayed my choice in New York City.
Being able to design systems, objects and information in an effective format has created a greater appreciation for the everyday human experience.
This past spring semester I created a mobile interactive system that visualizes the different smells in various parts of New York City. While I learned and expanded upon my knowledge of coding and layout design, it also shows my personal, quirky way of coming up with a design and the solution to it.
